EdventureCo's B2C portfolio is currently undergoing significant growth and this opportunity allows the CEO to drive brands which include the Australian Institute of ICT, Everthought Education (RPL and Apprenticeships) and Everthought College of Construction (International) but this is set to expand into new skill areas both here and abroad.
As part of the EdventureCo Group, as the B2C portfolio CEO you will join a growing education group that prioritises the acquisition and development of specialist education brands who deliver on unique brand promises. Within this role you will be responsible for the operation and strategy of skills based training businesses in a variety of industries with a focus currently in Trades and IT. With campuses in South East Queensland, Western Australia and serving online students nationally you will be based in Brisbane and travel as required to specific campuses.
The core purpose of the role of CEO – B2C will be to:
- Develop, advise and execute on the strategic plan for EdventureCo's businesses within the portfolio
- Ensure each brand is focused on moving the business toward; fulfilling its purpose, delivering on what industry needs and students want
- Develop a culture where people want to and do contribute everything they've got
- Grow and enhance the reputation, revenue and earnings of the business
- Develop capability, process, systems and structure to improve predictability, efficiency and enable great outcomes across all areas of the portfolio
- Ensure all practices, policies and processes are aligned to federal, state and industry regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements applicable to the accredited training industry
- This roles is required to support the day to day operations across all facets of the business but still provide strong leadership and strategic direction
To be successful in this role you will:
- have an established leadership career at an executive level with extensive accredited training sector experience
- expertise in driving operational improvement whilst remaining focused on service and quality
- demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in achieving outcomes in both domestic and international sales and marketing within the education sector

The role:
Due to the ongoing growth and transformation of our organisation, we are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor - Carpentry at our Cannington campus. In this role you will be required to deliver professional, high quality, training delivery and assessment for students enrolled in Certificate III in Carpentry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and prepare session plans and resources in readiness for training delivery
- Deliver training and conduct assessments for assigned client groups
- Provide an engaging, supportive and learner-focused learning environment
- Make considered assessment judgements on the skills and knowledge of learners and determine their competence
- With a meticulous eye for detail, provide accurate training records for assigned course participants
- Provide support, encouragement and compassion to course participants as necessary
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met
- Attend regular Everthought College of Construction meetings
Skills required:
Essential:
- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)
- Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery
- A minimum of 5 years working as a Carpenter or Carpenter and Joiner
- Demonstrated knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations in Carpentry
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor learners
- Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse clients
- Current industry experience
- Passion for sharing your industry experience with international students
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation in accordance with detailed time frames
- A current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- A current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain one
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management) and/or Diploma of Building and Construction (Management)
