Energetic Marketing Executive needed to join Australia's leading IT Training Company,who are embarking on a transformational digital marketing journey

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Executive with the passion and drive to assist us in unlocking the full potential of this business by executing strategic marketing plans in-line with company growth objectives. While you will have guidance from our experienced Marketing Director and management team, you will also be encouraged to innovate and work independently to implement continuous improvement strategies focused on marketing best practice using the latest tech stack. 
  
At a tactical level, you will primarily be involved in developing high quality marketing collateral, managing our social media presence, event management, email marketing, content marketing and product launch campaigns. More importantly, you will need to use these tactics to bring our USP’s to the forefront to generate leads, nurture accounts, and build the brand.
 
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the development of marketing collateral. This will involve liaising with key stakeholders to determine creative brief, collating relevant content, and working with Creative agencies to follow through to production and dispatch.
  • Responsible for all planning and administration of an events program including research, project plans, logistics and liaising with event organisers.
  • Assist in the development of a media plan in consultation with the Marketing Director, and coordinate all offline advertising bookings along with coordinating the development of creative. Research and log all appropriate advertising options.
  • Assist with public relations opportunities along with the development of student testimonials and case studies. This also includes updating relevant sections on websites.
  • Coordinate direct marketing initiatives such as Edm’s and mail outs to various targeted groups using CRM and data-mining.
  • Contribute to content writing for the website
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Director
Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

To be successful in the role you need to have a certain creative flair and be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders within the business. You are a natural networker who can build strong relationships, especially with the vendor marketing teams, and also have digital marketing expertise.

Skills:
  • Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Social media marketing skills across major networks such as Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook along with Social Media Management tools such as Hootsuite.
  • Outstanding content development abilities e.g. blog writing, whitepapers, brochures, infographics
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity with attention to detail in relation to proofing of designs and copy
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Email marketing software, CRM systems and Website Content Management
  • Highly developed administrative skills including planning, budgeting and time management
Experience
  • 3-5 years marketing and communications experience – preferably education and training related
  • Experience in developing high quality marketing collateral
  • Managing events such as seminars, webinars and attendance at expos/conferences
  • Experience in the Education/Training industry would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma in one of the following fields are preferable:
    • Marketing

What we are looking for in candidates for this job:
  • 3+ Years’ experience in a sales and ICT related industry, and B2B sales experience across corporate, government and IT vendors
  • Experience working to, and exceeding, targets, and researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of sales, including sales forecasting, developing account plans, proactively finding new ways to build client business and grow accounts, and in the tender writing processes & proposal compilation.
  • You will be driven by success & hungry for more, with a respectful and professional manner, a sense of urgency to act, and will work well under pressure
  • You will have an ability to adapt to change, be a positive team player, and have a high level of communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
