What is RPL?
RPL stands for Recognition of Prior Learning. If you have experience, skills and knowledge in your field of work, then you may be eligible, or at least very close to attaining, a related qualification.
The RPL process serves to recognise your proven skills, competencies, and know-how so you can get qualified and/or licenced.
RPL is measured and validated through assessment of three areas: validation of existing work experience, validation of existing qualifications, and validation of relative life skills and experience.
Let our qualified assessors do all the work for you. Sign up today!
RPL is important in many ways:
If you’re chasing your trades or building licence, you’ll need the respective qualification to satisfy state licensing regulators (ie. QBCC or NSW Fair Trading or VBA or WA Building Commission). At Everthought we’re specialists in helping experienced tradies get their licence or qualification, and RPL is the proven pathway.
It means that your previous work experience, knowledge and skills are formally recognised. It prevents you having to undergo training or instruction in areas that you are already highly experienced or competent in or skilled and familiar with. It can reduce the amount of time it takes you to secure a full qualification. Want to get to the next level in your career, go out on your own or increase your income?
